Fresh Summertime Grooms Combos

Fresh Summertime Grooms Combos

In 2025, grooms' wedding fashion blends modern elegance with classic sophistication. Whether it's a black-tie event or an outdoor celebration, the latest trends ensure every groom looks stylish.

Groomsmen's attire takes a refined yet whimsical turn with the integration of soft pastels and fresh sage green, perfect for complementing a variety of wedding themes. Suits in sage green or muted pastel tones, such as blush, powder blue, or lavender, exude understated elegance while maintaining a contemporary flair. To add personality and charm, ties, cumberbunds and pocket squares feature subtle floral patterns or delicate stripe designs, harmonizing perfectly with the season's aesthetic. These accents create a cohesive and sophisticated look that not only enhances the wedding’s palette but also allows each groomsman to make a stylish statement.

Vintage Shell Pink Groom

Starting with this almost blush pink groom combination, a soft and delicate but robust 100% wool Charmelaine Venetian shell pink suiting fabric with a simple matchingwaistcoat from cotton/viscose grosgrain in blush pink. The brocade in the tie has a deeper shade of pale pink, with a small palm tree design in sandy gold. This could be made into a tie or cravat, and you could have a matching cumberbund. Alternatively, you can make the tie from the blush grosgrain and the waistcoat from the brocade.

For the back of the waistcoat we have a viscose satin fabric in a very pale gold, almost oyster colour that could also be used to line the suit jacket (not seen in the image), but this could also be substituted for a shade of pink.

Sage on Sage on Sage Groom

Next up, the trend colour of 2025 for bridal; sage green. This combo is simple, cool and suave, a plain sage linen for the suit, a waffle weave silk brocade  in two shades of green for the waistcoat, and a pale sage green silk/cotton Ottoman stripe as a tie or cravat. This can also be used for a cumberband.

For a more dressed-up look, a simple suiting wool can be used for the suit.

Match up the lining to make both the back of the waistcoat and the lining of the jacket, or go with a stronger version of the green in the waistcoat.

Ivory, Cream and Light Brown Groom

Ivory and cream isn't just for the bride. This combination soft wool crepe blazer or suit in ivory with a stylish striped brocade waistcoat in cream and gold, and a matching ivory, cream and golden brown striped brocade tie or cravat. The suit could also be made from an ivory Charmelaine, and the shirt could more cream or ivory rather than white.

Mink or oyster viscose satin lining adds to the smooth simplicity when used to line the jacket as well as the back of the waistcoat. Alternatively, use an even more classic ivory lining.

Fun & Frivolous Spring Flowers Groom

With this option, we imagined a casual wedding at "Midsommar" in a countryside meadow in Sweden. We started with a playful wool woven in a fresh pale green with flecks of bright yellow, teal and blues, and added a tie from a cute floral printed cotton poplin, with small meadow flowers in blues and yellows with green leaves on ivory. As a switch-up, the shirt could be made from this cotton, with a fun yellow tie and cumberband. We have also added a geometric blue and green zig-zag brocade as a waistcoat for a bit of contrast. Go classic with a cool blue lining and back of the waistcoat, or go extra colourful with bright yellow as in the header image!

For a super casual look, pair with dark navy jeans and navy loafers, or neutral chinos.

Fresh Blue Meadow Groom

Repurposing the cute floral printed cotton poplin shirt from the previous combo, we created a tie from the geometric blue and green zig-zag brocade, ditched the waistcoat and found a soft pale cornflower blue suiting wool for the suit. Simple, yet unusual and personal.

Up the game by making the suit a 3-piece, and add a flash of colour by selecting a deep blue or yellow lining.

Simple, Stylish and Striped Groom

Lastly, this elegantly paired-back version of a trendy sage green groom look; we have ditched the waistcoat and cumberbund, and opted for a soft stripe textured cotton in the suit, light and airy, with a timelessly elegant striped gold and green silk cravat. No frills, no fuss, just pure gentlemanly style.

Pair with classic caramel brown brogues or oxford shoes, belt and watch strap.

Choose your suit wisely—whether it's suave sage, cool ivory and cream stripes, springtime florals or airy linen. Mix and match to reflect your personality. Your suit should be as memorable as the occasion. Be creative with colours and don't shy away from unusual choices. Have fun styling!
