Squares and Crosses Rustic Wool - Brown and Beige

This unusual wool fabric has a rustic look to it, whilst feeling soft and non-itchy. On one side it features pattern of tiny beige square crosses that look as if they would have been embroidered onto the surface of the brown wool. On the other side, the beige tread used to make the crosses carries over at the back, forming a pattern of empty squares over the back. Even though we believe the side with the crosses might be the 'right side', both sides could be used for costume, artistic or show pieces or, with some iron on backing, both sides might also be suitable for regular wear.
