This is a very unusual appliqué fabric, the base is a silk chiffon/georgette fabric, and it has strips of longer pile ivory faux fur sewn onto it, with islands of pearls covered in tulle. One selvedge has a long pile fur trim along the edge with ripped strips of habotai, this can be the hem if the fabric is used sideways, or trimmed off if the fabric is used the regular direction.
